What can Sitehound track?

Track absolutely everything. And we truly mean everything. The possibilities are endless, but let’s just touch on a few… Keep tabs on inventory, parts, tools, rainwater levels, equipment, phones, computers, office furniture, supplies, personal items, leases, photos, towers, software, proof of purchase, warranties, documents, buildings, land – you get the idea. No item is too big or small to monitor!

You say “track everything”, what exactly does that include?

Here’s a glimpse of what you can keep track of inventory, parts, tools, rainwater collection levels, equipment, phones, computers, office furniture, supplies, personal items, leases, photos, towers, software, proof of purchase, warranties, documents, buildings, land, and the list goes on! There’s practically nothing you can’t monitor and manage effectively.

How many things can I track at once?

Our Asset Tracking feature is truly unlimited, which means you don’t have to worry about additional charges, regardless of the number of items you have!

What mobile operating systems does Sitehound work with?

Sitehound is compatible with both Android and iOS operating systems, offering seamless accessibility across platforms. Download the application from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to start.

Is additional hardware other than your mobile device required to track with Sitehound?

Certainly not! Our iOS and Android Apps come equipped with built-in scanning and tracking, rendering it unnecessary in many instances. That said, we have an extensive array of products available for implementation, based on your specific business requirements. Do you offer a free trial?

How many users can I have at one time?

There is no limit to the number of users you can have; however, please note that we charge per active user.

How many organizations can I have at one time?

Your package will grant you at least 3 organizations. Organization counts increase based on your package.

Wait. What’s an organization again?

Sitehound utilizes organizations to effectively compartmentalize data, enabling you to keep distinct datasets separate for different groups or entities. This mechanism ensures streamlined data management and organization, promoting efficient data handling and enhanced clarity.

How much space do I get for adding things like documents and videos?

Your subscription includes 25 GB of storage. If you go over this limit, we’ll notify you. Extra storage can be purchased through the billing area by the account user.

Is my information protected and secure?

Absolutely! We rely on AWS and AWS GovCloud to host our cloud servers, as they are widely recognized as the gold standard for security. With top-notch AES-256 encryption, you can rest assured that your data remains impeccably safeguarded! Sitehound is certified SOC2 Type II compliant as of January 2024.

Our company is larger, and we need help setting up and getting started, do you offer setup assistance?

How can I unsubscribe from your emails?

By signing up for a trial or filling out a contact form, you will be added to our mailing list automatically. However, rest assured that you can unsubscribe at any time with just a click on the “Unsubscribe” link found at the bottom of every email we send.

Billing

How can I see my billing history?

The application allows the billing account user to access and review their complete billing history.

Do you offer discounts?

Certainly! By opting for an annual subscription and prepaying per user for the entire year, you’ll enjoy a generous 20% discount.

What happens if my billing information changes?

It is your responsibility to update your billing information in Sitehound if any changes occur. You can conveniently manage this through the Billing section in your system administrator dashboard.

What if I add users during the middle of my monthly or annual billing subscription?

You will be promptly billed a prorated fee upon adding any active users.

What if I remove users in the middle of my monthly or annual billing subscription, will I get a credit?

You won’t receive any credit for the active users that have been removed.

What happens when my trial is over?

Failure to cancel the trial within 14 days will result in charges based on the number of active users associated with your billing information.

How can I cancel my subscription?

As the billing account owner of Sitehound, you have the ability to cancel your subscription directly within the application. Simply access the billing section of the system administrator console to initiate the cancellation process effortlessly.

What happens if I cancel before my 14-day free trial ends or before the next billing syscle?

You will enjoy uninterrupted access to your free trial or paid instance of Sitehound throughout the duration of your billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

Unfortunately, refund services are not available.

How long do you hold onto my data if my subscription ends?

Your Sitehound instance and all associated data will be permanently deleted 7 days after the end of your subscription period.

Using Sitehound

How do I add data to Sitehound?

Data can be added to the system in multiple ways: through importing spreadsheets, manually inputting them on our mobile or web apps, or by connecting to a third-party system.

What happens if I exceed my storage limit?

To get started with upgrading your storage plan, follow these simple steps:

1. Ask the user responsible for the billing account to log in to Sitehound.

2. Locate the System Admin Console at the top right corner and click on it.

3. Navigate to the Billing tab and click on it.

4. Find the View Account button and click on it.

5. Choose the desired storage plan that you wish to upgrade to.

By following these steps, you can easily upgrade your storage plan and enjoy enhanced capabilities.

How do I add users?

1. Access Sitehound by logging in.

2. Navigate to the Users module.

3. Select Invite to Organization.

4. Enter the user’s email address (*for bulk invites, upload a spreadsheet with user email addresses).

5. Click +Invite – an email containing registration instructions will be sent to the user.

6. A modal will appear, allowing you to assign a role to the user (you may choose to add or defer this step).

How do I setup/change user roles and permissions?

Follow these steps to manage user roles in Sitehound:

1. Access Sitehound and log in.

2. Click on your Organization name located in the top right corner.

3. From the dropdown menu, select “Settings”.

4. Choose the desired role you wish to add or modify for the user.

5. Add or remove users for the selected role and save your changes.

This streamlined process allows for efficient management of user roles within Sitehound.

What currencies does Sitehound support?

Sitehound offers support for a wide range of global currency symbols. However, at present, it does not provide currency conversion capabilities.

Barcode Labels & Scanning Hardware

Do I need to buy hardware to scan barcodes?

Absolutely not! Sitehound comes with a built-in barcode scanning function in its mobile application. This feature enables all mobile users to effortlessly scan records, greatly enhancing the accuracy of your data.

Can I use 3rd party scanning hardware if I want?

Certainly! Our mobile application is fully compatible with 3rd party scanners. Additionally, through our partnerships, we offer assistance in procuring asset-tracking hardware. Is Sitehound secure?

Sitehound utilizes the advanced Software as a Service (SaaS) model, with hosting of its data through Amazon exchange is protected by 256-bit encryption. Sitehound is also SOC2 Type II compliant as of January 2024.

What is Sitehound’s password requirements?

Ensure that your password meets the following requirements:

– Consists of at least eight characters

– Includes at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter

– Contains at least one number

– Incorporates at least one special character

Is Sitehound PCI Compliant?
